this is my first year in the Bachelor of Fine Arts at RMIT.

before this endeavour, i was working full time in hospitality as a barista” hating it, but loving it passionately at the same time” until i had an epiphany: my purpose is inextricably tied to 1) being part of a community and 2) working with my hands.

chasing after this revelation but fearing the laptop-based-assignment-ness of formal university, i chose to complete a Certificate II in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology at TAFE, during which i both confirmed my existential hypothesis to be true and rediscovered my love for being creative, learning skills and desire to academically pursue knowledge.

with the power of RMIT's art institute on my side, i intend to explore the discipline in every medium available to me, inside and out. this website will serve as a working archive of my journey.
